Football star Leroy Sane is swapping Bayern Munich for Galatasaray Istanbul, but he's not jumping straight into Turkish football just yet! Sane's excited fans in Istanbul might have to wait, as our German national player has been tapped for the Club World Cup with Bayern Munich.

Reports emerge from Orlando, where sports director Max Eberl has confirmed Sane will participate in the Club World Cup following his confirmation at Galatasaray Istanbul. Sane's Bayern comrades can look forward to his return on Friday, as he'll don the旗立oshirt until the end of June – ready to play in all three group games and, potentially, the round of 16 in the USA.

When discussing the situation with the press, Eberl admitted, "It's a strange cush for all of us, but this tournament is new." Sane expressed excitement to be part of the team and contribute his energy. Eberl added, "You need guys who are fully invested, and Leroy wants to be here."

The Sane Signing: What's the Deal in Istanbul?

Today, Leroy Sane signed a three-year contract with Galatasaray. Club executives shared that his guaranteed net salary for the season would be nine million euros, and he'd receive a net loyalty bonus of three million euros per season.
