Before the last home game of 25-year veteran Thomas Müller as a Bayern player, the Allianz Arena was filled with emotional farewells. The legend was honored with flowers, gifts, and chants from fans in a poignant pre-match ceremony.

Müller received a bouquet of flowers, a picture, a Schafkopf card – a nod to his passion for the German dice game – and a donation for his foundation from club president Herbert Hainer and the board members. Borussia Mönchengladbach also presented him with a framed picture.

Müller, 35, concludes his Bayern career this summer after not receiving a new contract. Saturday's match against Mönchengladbach was his 750th career appearance, marking his farewell game in the Allianz Arena. Coach Vincent Kompany wanted to end the night on a high: "We're playing this game for Thomas, hope it's a celebration for everyone."

Bayern also plans to award the championship trophy to Müller upon his departure. The title celebrations don't end there, with a final Bundesliga matchday in Hoffenheim, followed by the Club World Cup in the USA in June and July.
