Chillin' at Disney, then Sweatin' for Boca: Bayern's Vacay Vibes before Showdown
Following Disneyland, golf, and swimming: Bavaria perspires for Boca (soccer match) - Bayern Munich labors after Disneyland, golf, and swimming, in preparations for clash with Boca Juniors
Hey there!
After a day of fun and games at Disneyland, golfing, or lounging by the pool, FC Bayern players came back to the training ground on Tuesday, all rested and ready to take on Boca Juniors in their Club World Cup quest. Coach Vincent Kompany called the troops to action at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex - their training base during this tourney.
Kompany cruised onto the field in a snazzy golf cart, giving his squad a day off after their record-breaking 10-0 win against Auckland City. As he put it, "I don't wanna overstress 'em rollin' into a tournament every day. Gotta take it chill."
Flowers and kiddos were along for the American adventure, thanks to Kompany's generous invite for the first phase. Harry Kane, dad of four, went wild at Disney World, while golfing buddies Thomas Müller and a bunch of other guys played a round at the resort course.
Training over at the base camp wraps up by Thursday, when the Bayern gang heads to Miami – around 370 km away. They're aiming to secure a spot in the round of 16 as early as Friday evening, local time, at Hard Rock Stadium, streaming live on Sat.1 and DAZN. Boca Juniors battled out a 2:2 tie against Benfica Lisbon in their first game.
Oh, and about FC Bayern's enchanting Disney stay? Top-notch training facilities, practice grounds for pro and amateur sports, all wrapped up in a magical theme park atmosphere for a pleasant change of scenery before the games begin. 😎

Despite their success on the field, FC Bayern players didn't forget about their love for other sports, as they took time out to golf at a nearby course during their stay at Disney World. Meanwhile, the Commission has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation, ensuring safety even off the soccer field.
