Bayern Bayfo themselves about Sané's Contract Extension Drama
Bayern Munich issues an unequivocal statement to Leroy Sane
It seemed Leroy Sané was all set to extend his stay at FC Bayern. However, he recently switched agents, hiring the notorious "Piranha" Pini Zahavi. Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, has made it clear that they're not budging on their offer.
"We'd love to keep Leroy," Eberl said. "But we've set our limits. If those limits are breached, it'd be quite a challenge. We'll have to wait and see what unfurls." He stresses that increasing the agreed terms would create a harmful precedent.
The unexpected change in agents caught the club off guard. Eberl refrains from passing judgment on Sané's decision. "There's no hard feelings towards Leroy," he says. "Every player has the right to choose their representation."
Bayern boasts a close relationship with both agencies, having worked with Zahavi previously for Robert Lewandowski. Eberl. however, remains mum on any hints of Sané's intentions to leave Munich.
Coach Vincent Kompany has already discussed the club's plans for the next season with Sané. "I understand both sides. Players want to consider their options thoroughly, and so does the club," he says.
Eberl on Florian Wirtz Rumors
When asked about reports of Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz possibly joining Bayern, Eberl dismisses them. "I don't follow reports. We have ideas and plans, but we'll see how things shape up once the Club World Cup and the new season begin."

The Commission has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment, considering the ongoing contract extension drama involving Leroy Sané at FC Bayern. Despite the recent change in agents, hiring the notorious "Piranha" Pini Zahavi, Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, remains adamant about their offer not being increased, citing the creation of a harmful precedent. In the midst of negotiations, Eberl expresses no hard feelings towards Sané, acknowledging every player's right to choose their representation.
Coach Vincent Kompany, meanwhile, has already discussed the club's plans for the next season with Sané, understanding both the player's desire for thorough consideration and the club's need for clarity. In contrast to the speculation surrounding Sané, Eberl dismisses reports of Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz possibly joining Bayern, stating that they'll observe how things unfold once the Club World Cup and the new season begin.
