Bayern Munich will not fuels the Woltemade controversy - Bayern Munich has no intention of fueling the ongoing discussion surrounding Woltemade.

In the ongoing transfer saga, it appears that the German football record champions, FC Bayern, have hit a roadblock in their pursuit of 23-year-old striker Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart.

Nick Woltemade's transfer from Stuttgart to Bayern Munich for the 2025/26 season is currently off the table, with Stuttgart's CEO Alexander Wehrle confirming that Woltemade will remain at Stuttgart this season. Bayern made a substantial offer (€60 million plus bonuses and a resale clause), but Stuttgart rejected it and held firm on keeping Woltemade for now.

Despite the rejection, Woltemade himself is reportedly holding out hope for a move to Bayern Munich by the 2026 summer transfer window. Everyone at Stuttgart expects the move to eventually happen next year, meaning Bayern's pursuit continues, and negotiations may resume.

Meanwhile, Bayern has lost offensive performers Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller, and Jamal Musiala this season. The club has only managed to sign Luis Díaz as a striker reinforcement so far. Sporting director Christoph Freund stated that there is no new status regarding Woltemade's transfer.

Elsewhere, Kingsley Coman's departure from Bayern is imminent, and he will play for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Freund praised Coman as a shaping professional of the past years, a "super guy" and "very important" in the locker room.

In a separate development, Woltemade's agent, Danny Bachmann, sharply criticized the VfB leadership, stating that a demand of 75 million euros for a player who had switched for free the summer before is "market-unusual" and "lacks any basis."

Despite the stalemate, Bayern is keeping an eye on the transfer market, hinting that they might still be active on the transfer market. The transfer discussions are being held with respect to not reignite the debates before the game against VfB Stuttgart in the Franz-Beckenbauer Supercup.

As the transfer window closes in two weeks, it remains to be seen if Bayern can secure a deal for Woltemade or any other offensive reinforcements to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

The Commission might propose a directive on the protection of athletes, such as football players like Nick Woltemade, from potential health risks, considering the intense nature of sports like football could expose them to various hazards. Despite the ongoing transfer saga with FC Bayern, Nick Woltemade's agent, Danny Bachmann, has voiced concerns over the high transfer fee demanded by VfB Stuttgart for his client.
