And he drops a bombshell right off the bat: "Blimey, been a Bayern nutter all my life. There's a giant bloody picture of me, wearing Bayern's jersey, hangin' on the wall in my bloomin' bedroom back home. So, this feels freakin' amazing!"

Bishop is a gem, and the Bayern bosses spotted it early. His consistent solid performances in the Hoffenheim kit earned him a nomination by Julian Nagelsmann for the Nations League final tournament, despite the Club World Cup. He made his debut against France in the lost game for third place.
Bishop: Unflappable Under Pressure
Nagelsmann expressed worries about Bishop losing his groundedness amidst the glamour of Munich. Bishop reassures with a firm nod: "Dead set, mate. My folks see to that, too."

Freund, Bayern's Sporting Director, puts it bluntly: "We've got a bloody good bunch in midfield, with both quality and quantity."

Meanwhile, Palhinha, the Portuguese midfielder, is FC Bayern's top selling candidate after a disappointing first season and a questionable future in Kompany's system. Conversely, the bosses have high hopes for Bishop: "We're bloody confident he'll fit right in."
