Bayern Munich faces an ultimatum from VfB Stuttgart in the Woltemade negotiations.

In the ongoing transfer saga surrounding Nick Woltemade, VfB Stuttgart has made it clear that the player will not be leaving the club this season. The German football league's transfer window remains open until September 1, but Stuttgart has set an ultimatum for Bayern Munich, stating that a decision about Woltemade must be made by the Supercup match against Bayern on Saturday.

Alexander Wehrle, VfB's CEO, reiterated this stance at an event of the "Stuttgarter Zeitung" and the "Stuttgarter Nachrichten". He implied that the door for negotiations may close after the Supercup match, should Bayern fail to meet Stuttgart's transfer demands.

Bayern's reported offer for Woltemade stands at 55 million euros, including five million in potential bonus payments. However, Stuttgart has rejected this offer, demanding a higher valuation, rumoured to be around 65 million euros. This wish has been known for approximately six and a half weeks.

Despite Woltemade's public expression of his wish to play for Bayern Munich in the future, Stuttgart has been resolute in their decision to keep the player for the current season. Negotiations for a salary increase at Stuttgart will continue, and Hoeneß could continue to plan with Woltemade as part of the VfB squad if no transfer occurs.

The Supercup match, scheduled for 8:30 PM on Saturday, will be a significant turning point in this saga. The highly-anticipated match will be broadcast on Sat.1 and Sky, and Woltemade is expected to play for Stuttgart in the game. The outcome of this match may determine Woltemade's future with the club.

Eberl's initial statement about the transfer being "off the table" leaves room for possible negotiations before the transfer window closes. However, should no agreement be reached, Woltemade will have to remain at VfB for the time being.
