The game started strongly for Bayern, with new signing Spencer Dinwiddie leading the charge. He scored two three-pointers during a 9–0 opening run, helping Bayern Munich score 21 points in the first five minutes and build a 14-point lead. By halftime, Bayern's dominant performance saw them leading 63-35. Dinwiddie, who led the game with 18 points, scored 14 of those in the first half, showcasing his impact on the team.
Despite their strong start, Bayern eased off in the second half, allowing Heidelberg to claw back some points. However, the damage was already done, and Bayern secured the win, extending their impressive run of form.
