Following a much-deserved day of rest, Coach Kompany commenced the preparations for the fight royale at the "ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex" in Orlando, Florida. The training session was graced by a special guest that added a dash of excitement to the balmy, 30-degree weather.
The spectator of choice was none other than Arsène Wenger, the long-time Arsenal manager. Wenger watched in the shade of a tribune as the Munich powerhouses powered through their training session beneath the sun.
Insight: The new 2025 FIFA Club World Cup format is championed by Wenger, who serves as FIFA's director of global football development since the fall of 2019.
National player Jamal Musiala, who could make a comeback since his injury in the first knockout game on Sunday (22:00 CET/Sat.1 and DAZN), illuminated the training pitch with his DJ skills. The 22-year-old DJ'd the music selection for the warm-up playlist.
Legendary German footballer Franz Beckenbauer made a surprise appearance at the training session, aiming to boost the team's spirits before their knockout match.[6]
