Bayern is facing an demands from VfB in the Woltemade gamble situation

In a dramatic turn of events, the transfer saga surrounding Nick Woltemade, the national team striker of VfB Stuttgart, has come to an end. After intense negotiations and a substantial offer reportedly around €60 million, Stuttgart has rejected bids from Bayern Munich, valuing Woltemade at approximately €75 million.

VfB CEO Alexander Wehrle made it clear that Woltemade is and will continue to be a player for Stuttgart this season. The confirmation was made before and after the Supercup match between the two teams, which took place on Saturday at 8:30 PM and was broadcast on Sat.1 and Sky.

During the Supercup match, Woltemade played for Stuttgart against Bayern and had several notable chances, demonstrating his commitment to the club despite the transfer rumors.

Following the Supercup fixture, further negotiations between the two clubs have ceased, confirming that Woltemade will remain at Stuttgart for the 2025-26 season. No official confirmation has been made about a new transfer fee being agreed upon.

The desire for Woltemade to play for FC Bayern Munich in the future has been publicly known for about six and a half weeks. Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, had previously stated that a transfer of Woltemade was "off the table," but Eberl left a backdoor open by referring to the transfer period running until 1 September.

However, VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß could continue planning with Woltemade as he wishes, and Wehrle mentioned that a decision regarding Woltemade's transfer will likely be made after the Supercup match. Stuttgart is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of 65 million euros for Woltemade, although this figure has not been confirmed.

The event where Wehrle made his statement was hosted by "Stuttgarter Zeitung" and "Stuttgarter Nachrichten." The latest development in this transfer saga brings clarity to the situation, with Woltemade set to continue his career with VfB Stuttgart for the foreseeable future.
