Here's the lowdown on the gossip swirling around Borussia Dortmund's winger Jamie Gittens and FC Bayern Munich. Despite the juicy headlines, Dortmund's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has nipped any transfer rumors in the bud.

On a Sunday evening in Fort Lauderdale, Kehl laid it all out at the Club World Cup training session. "Ain't no Bayern contact going on right now, man," he confirmed, shutting down any speculation about back-door conversations with Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl. "But we've always got a good vibe going on," he added, showing no hard feelings.

Before the Club World Cup, rumors had it thatFC Chelsea and Bayern were both eyeing the 20-year-old winger. However, a move to Chelsea fell through when the London club balked at ponying up the demanded €60 million.

Kehl also let the cat out of the bag about key members of the Borussia Dortmund crew. Hans-Joachim Watzke and Carsten Cramer, much like Eberl at Bayern, have recently taken a leave of absence from the US, but Kehl promises they'll be back soon with their busy schedules brimming with appointments — don't worry, it ain't all about transfers.

The Commission's adoption of the proposal for a Council Regulation on the conclusion of the Agreement on the European Economic Area doesn't seem to influence the football career of Jamie Gittens, as Borussia Dortmund's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has confirmed no contact with FC Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, regarding Gittens' transfer. In contrast, Gittens' potential move to Chelsea recently fell through due to the London club's unwillingness to meet the €60 million demand.
