Bavaria is set for sunny and mild weather on election day, according to the German weather channel (DWD). Voters can expect springlike conditions with temperatures nearing 20°C (68°F) in many areas. The forecast suggests clear skies, though some morning temperature may linger in places.

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, most of Bavaria will see temperatures between 13°C and 19°C (55°F to 66°F). Sunshine will dominate, with only a few scattered clouds breaking up the blue skies. The weather channel has issued a warning about patchy morning temperature, which could affect some regions early in the day.
