Battlefield 6 Season 1 Kicks Off with Two New Maps and 4v4 Mode
Battlefield 6 is set to expand its offerings with Season 1, kicking off just two weeks after its October 10 launch. Fans can expect two new maps, a fresh 4v4 mode, and a host of new features.
Season 1 will introduce two exciting new maps. Blackwell Fields, set at a sprawling American air force base in Kern County, California, offers rocky terrain and a runway with hangars. Meanwhile, Eastwood, potentially larger than the current largest map Mirak Valley, promises expansive gameplay.
The season also brings a new 4v4 mode called Strikepoint. Players can look forward to new guns, a new vehicle - the Traverser Mark 2 transport, and innovative battle pickups. These additions will be rolled out in phases over the three-month season, with a significant update each month.
Battlefield 6 will share more details about its roadmap as the launch approaches. Notably, the recent announcement did not mention the battle royale mode, suggesting it might not be available until after December.
Battlefield 6 Season 1 is set to commence on October 28, bringing two new maps, a new mode, and a range of fresh content. With monthly updates planned, players can anticipate an engaging and evolving gaming experience.
