Zoe's father, Jens Hielscher (Sebastian Zimmler), a man with a violent past, is a suspect of interest, having previously fled to the women's shelter to escape from his wife. Fanny, Meike's best friend, finds herself in a state of disarray due to substance abuse, adding another layer of complexity to the case.
