Sophie Cunningham Launches New Podcast "Show Me Something"

Sophie Cunningham, the star player for the Indiana Fever, has ventured into the world of podcasting with her new show, "Show Me Something." Co-hosted by West Wilson, a reality TV personality best known for her appearances on Bravo's "Summer House" and various shows like "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" and NFL Network's "Good Morning Football," the podcast promises a unique blend of sports, pop culture, reality TV, and lifestyle topics.

The podcast, backed by Colin Cowherd's The Volume, airs twice a week and is named as a nod to Missouri’s "Show Me" state nickname, reflecting the hosts' shared heritage. The tone and style of the podcast are casual, humorous, and conversational, with a mix of personal anecdotes and interviews.

The content of "Show Me Something" is diverse, covering topics such as the WNBA, behind-the-scenes Fever locker room insights, sports rivalries, injuries, pop culture like Bravo TV and viral trends, lifestyle themes such as fashion and food, travel, and more. The chemistry between the hosts is emphasized as a key element, engaging listeners through their shared background and complementary perspectives.

Cunningham, who averages 7.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and a steal in her debut season in Indianapolis, has also gained a new identity as an enforcer when opponents target her teammates, particularly Caitlin Clark, with physical defense. In the podcast, she made an impassioned case for Clark as the face of the WNBA.

The Fever will visit the Dallas Wings on Friday, and the game will be broadcasted at 7:30 p.m. ET on Ion. Cunningham, who has developed a reputation for physical play throughout her career, originally entered the WNBA as a second-round pick of the Phoenix Mercury's after a successful career at the University of Missouri.

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Cunningham has gained endorsements from brands like Adidas, Arby's, and Ring. She has also previously served as an analyst for Phoenix Suns games. With her new podcast, "Show Me Something," Cunningham continues to make her mark both on and off the court.
