The Swisslos Sports Fund Commission in Basel has approved new funding for local sports projects. Over CHF 131,000 will support initiatives aimed at increasing physical activity and accessibility in the region. The decision introduces fresh opportunities for clubs and organisations.

Eleven applications were reviewed during the latest funding round. A total of CHF 131,264.50 was allocated to successful projects across the city. The commission expanded its support to include new categories.

Low-threshold sports programmes will now receive backing. Funding will also go towards accessible sports infrastructure, ensuring facilities meet diverse needs.
