12:40 PM Eastern

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds

Andrew Abbott, the Reds' starter, has been dynamite with a 3.60 ERA and 12 K's per 9 innings. His crew's bullpen ain't too shabby either, rocking a smokin' 3.46 ERA. Gonna be a boss showdown against the Cardinals, who rank a lowly 25th in bullpen ERA at 4.80. Cardinals' boy, Matthew Liberatore, has a peculiar habit of shine at home (3.51 ERA, 0.7 HR/9) compared to the road (5.86 ERA, 1.1 HR/9).

Pick: Reds Moneyline -120 (Greg's Prediction: Reds -136)

1:10 PM Eastern

Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Guardians

The Guardians have been on a roll with Ben Lively, despite his 4.40 ERA and 1.5 HR/9. With a top-notch bullpen that's got the lowest AL ERA since the season started, things are lookin' good for 'em. Twins' Simeon Woods Richardson, on the other hand, ain't nothing special, y'know, like a league-average performance (4.07 ERA and FIP).

Picks: Guardians Moneyline -108, Under 9 Runs (Greg's Prediction: Guardians -126, Over 7.9)

2:10 PM Eastern

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago White Sox

Sean Burke's had a tough go of it this season, with a 6.00 ERA and 6.52 FIP, averaging 2.3 HRs and 3.7 BBs per 9 innings. All of that's somethin' the Brewers can take advantage of, especially since Chad Patrick's got a 2.47 ERA, improv'n to 1.88 as a starter. They're goin' up against a White Sox lineup that's been scoreless lately, av'gin just 3.4 runs per game at home.

Pick: Brewers Run Line -1.5 +100 (Greg's Prediction: Brewers Run Line -1.5 -124)

6:45 PM Eastern

Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Taijuan Walker's bounced back from a rough 2024 season with a 2.78 ERA but, he's averagin' four walks per 9 innings. Brad Lord, on the other hand, has struggled since fillin' in as a starter, boastin' a 4.67 ERA and allowing 4.7 BBs per 9 innings.

Picks: Phillies Run Line -1.5 +115, Over 9.5 Runs (Greg's Prediction: Phillies Run Line -1.5 -111, Total 9.6)

9:38 PM Eastern

Detroit Tigers vs. Los Angeles Angels

The Angels ain't doin' well with Yusei Kikuchi, who's got a 4.32 ERA, and a below-average 5.2 walks per 9 innings. Their bullpen ain't shine' much either, rankin' the worst in the AL with a 5.04 ERA. Casey Mize's been in fine form, though, with a 2.12 ERA, especially after starrin' in four games with zero or one runs allowed. Detroit's bullpen ain't too shabby either, rankin' 4th in ERA at 2.79.

Pick: Tigers Moneyline -110 (Greg's Prediction: Tigers -128)

9:45 PM Eastern

Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants

Justin Verlander ain't quite the ace he used to be, bringin' a 4.99 ERA this season. But, his 8.2 Ks per 9 innings offer a glimmer of hope for improvement. The Rockies are dead last in road offense, goin' for just 2.1 runs per game. Rockies' starter, Kyle Freeland, has struggled lately, boastin' a 5.93 ERA, with three of his last four games goin' for at least five runs. The Rockies are on pace for a dismal 27-135 season after a bad 5-25 start.

Pick: Giants Run Line -1.5 -105 (Greg's Prediction: Giants Run Line -1.5 -142)
