For instance, in Division I, Garfield #8 is set to challenge Banning #1, the current division leader, in a thrilling matchup on Thursday. Meanwhile, San Pedro's baseball team, currently ranked #4, will be battling it out against Taft #11 in another fiercely contested game, both matches part of the knee-deep playoffs in California.
