TACOMA, WA - Days after his initial disappointment, 23-year-old pitcher Logan Evans demonstrated maturity and resolve about his demotion from the Seattle Mariners to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.
"I understand the situation," Evans stated Thursday afternoon, standing outside the Rainiers' home dugout at Cheney Stadium. "I think I've proven to everyone in that front office and even the fans that I belong there. I'll be back soon."

"I'm not going to change anything," Evans affirmed. "I've informed Dan and everyone else that I'll just keep working wherever I am, whether it's a couple days or sometime down the road. I just need to keep grinding, and hopefully that'll put pressure on them to bring me back before long."
