Baseball events stream on Apple TV+ commence again starting from April 7 (Friday)

Major League Baseball (MLB) in partnership with Apple declared that "Friday Night Baseball" will be accessible solely to Apple TV+ subscription holders.

Baseball events stream on Apple TV+ commence again starting from April 7 (Friday)

The much-anticipated "Friday Night Baseball" schedule for the first half of the 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) season has been announced, resuming on Apple TV+ on April 7. The weekly doubleheader will be available to all Apple TV+ subscribers throughout the regular season.

The schedule kicks off with the Texas Rangers at the Chicago Cubs and the San Diego Padres at the Atlanta Braves on April 7, followed by a series of exciting matches. On April 14, fans can catch the Milwaukee Brewers at Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Angels at Arizona Diamondbacks.

Each game will feature state-of-the-art cameras, immersive sound, drone cameras, player mics, and field-level mics, promising an unparalleled viewing experience. Fans in the U.S. and Canada will have the option to listen to the audio of the home and away teams' local radio broadcasts during "Friday Night Baseball" games.

In addition to the live action, fans can find exclusive official playlists featuring the walk-up songs from each week's "Friday Night Baseball" teams on Apple Music. A curated group of the buzziest stories from around the league will also be available each Friday, allowing fans to stay updated on the latest news.

Apple's senior vice president of Services, Eddy Cue, expressed excitement for the new season. He said, "We're thrilled to bring 'Friday Night Baseball' to Apple TV+, offering fans an immersive and engaging experience that showcases the best of Major League Baseball."

The "Friday Night Baseball" schedule for May 5 includes the Chicago White Sox at Cincinnati Reds at 6:30 p.m. ETMinnesota Twins at Cleveland Guardians at 7 p.m. ET. The schedule for May 12 features Kansas City Royals at Milwaukee Brewers at 8 p.m. ET and Chicago Cubs at Minnesota Twins at 8 p.m. ET.

The schedule for May 19 has Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays at 7 p.m. ET and Seattle Mariners at Atlanta Braves at 7 p.m. ET. The schedule for May 26 includes San Diego Padres at New York Yankees at 7 p.m. ET and Chicago White Sox at Detroit Tigers at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The "Friday Night Baseball" schedule for June 2 features Milwaukee Brewers at Cincinnati Reds at 5 p.m. ET and Cleveland Guardians at Minnesota Twins at 8 p.m. ET. The schedule for June 9 has Kansas City Royals at Baltimore Orioles at 7 p.m. ET and Seattle Mariners at Los Angeles Angels at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The schedule for June 16 includes Pittsburgh Pirates at Milwaukee Brewers at 8 p.m. ET and Chicago White Sox at Seattle Mariners at 10 p.m. ET. The schedule for June 23 features Pittsburgh Pirates at Miami Marlins at 6:30 p.m. ET and New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies at 7 p.m. ET. June 30 will see the Milwaukee Brewers at Pittsburgh Pirates at 7 p.m. ET and Arizona Diamondbacks at Los Angeles Angels at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Live pre- and postgame coverage will be hosted by Lauren Gardner, Siera Santos, Xavier Scruggs, Matt Joyce, Russell Dorsey, Brian Gorman, Dale Scott, and others. An exceptional group of broadcast talent has been announced for the announcer booths, including Melissa Peschard, Chris Young, Stephen Nelson, Katie Nolan, and Hunter Pence.

In commercial establishments across the U.S., "Friday Night Baseball" will be exclusively available on DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS.
