Barcelona is making significant strides in its bid to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor before the defence of the La Liga title against RCD Mallorca this Saturday. The club's financial situation has been bolstered by a 7 million euro bank guarantee and the leveraging of around 475 VIP seats at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

The bank guarantee acts as a temporary financial solution, helping the club meet immediate registration requirements imposed by La Liga. Previously, Dani Olmo's registration was denied due to financial constraints. The club's recent introduction of nearly 500 customized VIP seats serves as a new revenue stream, contributing additional income that is pivotal for Barcelona as it aids in balancing their books and increasing available funds to register new signings like Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

Despite these measures and other financial efforts, such as player sales netting €23 million and a sponsorship deal bringing in around €10 million per season, Barcelona still faces challenges in fully complying with La Liga's financial regulations. However, these combined financial moves provide the club with a better chance to legally register their players and avoid past eligibility issues that affected Dani Olmo last season.

Meanwhile, Ter Stegen has reversed his decision and signed the medical authorization to remain at Barcelona. The team has also signed Roony Bardghji, Gerard Martin, and renewed Szczesny this summer. Barcelona has returned the captaincy to Ter Stegen and is working against the clock to register the new members of the squad in time for the defence of the league title.

However, La Liga plans to appeal the CSD's favorable resolution for Barcelona in the Olmo case. The CSD is involved in the process of resolving the registration issue for Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. It remains to be seen how this will impact Barcelona's plans to register the two players before the start of the new season.

In addition to Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, Barcelona is also working to secure the registration of other new signings. The team has signed goalkeeper Joan Garcia and incorporated Marcus Rashford on loan this summer. As the new season approaches, Barcelona will be hoping to put any remaining registration issues to rest and focus on defending their league title.

The financial moves made by Barcelona, including the bank guarantee and leveraging of VIP seats, are pivotal for balancing their books and increasing available funds to register new signings like Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. Given the challenges in fully complying with La Liga's financial regulations, the club hopes these combined efforts will provide a better chance to legally register their players and avoid past eligibility issues.
