Cologne - On July 10, 2026, BAP celebrates their 50th birthday with a bang at the RheinEnergie Stadium.

Kicking it old school

"Alright, let's do this," the 74-year-old frontman proclaimed on Tuesday in Cologne. "It's giving me some shivers already. It's like my fuckin' living room, I've seen so many epic bands here, but of course, I've got to admit it's also got a fuckin' football vibe going on. Feels really good."

Initial reservations aside, BAP's 50th anniversary is a perfect occasion for throwing a massive party at such an iconic location. He's already decided on the opening and closing songs.

But as for what comes in between, expectsome unexpected surprises, as the dude is changing up the setlist daily.

Maite Kelly: "Holy fucking shit, the expectations for women today are insane!"

BAP has played at the RheinEnergie Stadium a total of three times, but always as the opening act for the friggin' Rolling Stones, never as the main attraction.

But this time around, they're ready to take center stage and celebrate five decades of Kölschrock and German music culture in style.
