In 1992, the post-Fish Marillion also had a hit with "Sympathy." However, it was Kaff's portrayal of Viv Savage in Spinal Tap that gained him his most prominent recognition in the entertainment world.
In an interview with BAM in 1991, Kaff expressed a fondness for his character, stating, "Have a good time... all the time," a memorable line from the original film.
