Side-Line Magazine, an independent journalism platform dedicated to promoting artists, is sharing exciting news about the release of a new album by electronic duo Immersion. The album, titled "WTF?", is set to be released on September 26, 2025, via Immersion's own label ~swim.

The album features eight tracks, a mix of instrumental and vocal songs. The confirmed tracklist is:

  1. Defiance
  2. Use It Don't Lose It
  3. It's A Long Way To Brooklyn
  4. Timeline
  5. How To Be
  6. Change Of Use
  7. Push the Rock
  8. On The Longest Day

Immersion, formed by Colin Newman of Wire and Malka Spigel of Minimal Compact, have returned to their core duo line-up after prior collaborative projects. The album was created after their return to live performance following recent UK and US tours.

Thematically, "WTF?" reflects the global instability and fractured state of humanity in the early 21st century. The lead single "Use It Don't Lose It" is a direct, chant-like expression that mirrors confrontation and reaction to dark, divisive, and dangerous times. The album blends a sense of unease with hope through minimal yet melodic electronic compositions.

The band has also announced a special listening party and live conversation hosted by John Robb in Brighton on October 3, 2025. A supporting UK tour is planned around the album release. The tour includes dates in Woodbridge, Brighton, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Coventry, London, and Brighton.
