Bamberg Traffic Changes: Football Match Affects Routes on October 4
Bamberg residents should note temporary traffic changes on October 4, 2025, due to a football match. From 12:30 PM to around 5 PM, Armeestraße will become a one-way street, and Geisfelder Straße will temporarily close to trucks at the start of Armeestraße. These changes aim to ease traffic flow and provide parking for spectators.
The one-way street rule will apply from Pödeldorfer Straße to Moosstraße to help manage traffic during the event. On the day of the match, a section of Armeestraße will also function as a one-way street. Additionally, Geisfelder Straße will be temporarily designated as a dead-end for trucks at the beginning of Armeestraße. The FC Eintracht Bamberg 2010 e.V. has organized the match between FC Eintracht Bamberg and Würzburger FV at Fuchs-Park-Stadion. Temporary traffic disruptions are expected before and after the installation of signs.
