Bamberg secures signing of Czech athlete Balint.

The 22-year-old Czech basketball player Richard Balint is set to join Bundesliga team Bamberg Baskets, marking his second major signing with the club. Balint, who previously played for Basket Brno, the Czech vice-champion, has agreed to a two-year contract, as confirmed by the club.

Anton Gavel, head coach of the Bambergers, expressed enthusiasm for the new acquisition, stating, "I've known Richard since he was a young boy, and I believe he still has a lot to prove in Germany." The coach added, "Characters like him are exactly what we need on our team."

Previously, Bamberg Baskets had secured the services of power forward Daniel Keppeler, aged 28. With these additions, the team appears to be building a formidable roster for the upcoming season.

Richard Balint, the new addition to Bamberg Baskets, will be joining the ranks of the NBA-style Bundesliga team, bringing his skills in basketball to the forefront. As a 22-year-old prodigy, Balint promises to prove his mettle in Germany, providing the team with a vital boost in character, aligning with coach Anton Gavel's expectations.
