Bad Salzungen Water Services Adjusts Holiday Opening Dates for Christmas 2025
The Bad Salzungen Water and Wastewater Association (WVS) has announced changes to its opening hours over the Christmas period. While most services will close on specific dates, emergency support will still be available for urgent issues.
The customer service centre and technical service departments in Bad Salzungen and Geisa will shut their doors on December 24 and 31, 2025, as well as January 2, 2026. These closures apply to all public-facing operations under the leadership of Thomas Schardt, the association’s head.
Outside these dates, the WVS will keep to its usual working schedule. Residents needing urgent help during the closures can still reach the on-call team by phoning 03695/667-668.
The temporary closures mean no in-person services on the three specified dates. However, the emergency contact line ensures that critical water and wastewater problems can be addressed without delay. Normal operations will resume immediately after each closure.
