Bad Krozingen Debuts Free 24/7 Bike Repair Station for All Riders

A new ADAC Bike Service Station has opened at Bad Krozingen station. The free, 24/7 repair point was officially unveiled on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. It forms part of a wider push to encourage sustainable transport in the area.

The station provides essential tools for quick fixes. Riders can use an air pump, screwdrivers, and hex keys to repair flat tyres or tighten loose bolts. The equipment also works for strollers, skateboards, and wheelchairs.

No membership is needed, and the service is available at any time. ADAC already runs over two dozen similar stations across Südbaden. More are planned for installation throughout 2026. The project supports Bad Krozingen's efforts to promote greener travel. By offering easy access to repair tools, the station helps keep bikes and other small vehicles in working order.

The new repair column gives cyclists and commuters a simple way to handle minor breakdowns. With no cost or restrictions, it aims to reduce barriers to sustainable transport. Further stations are expected to open in the region later this year.
