Azerbaijan and Armenia reach groundbreaking peace accord, welcomed by the United Arab Emirates
In a significant development for the South Caucasus region, Armenia and Azerbaijan initialed a peace agreement on August 11, 2025, and signed it in a U.S.-brokered ceremony on August 8, 2025.
