On Truth Social, Trump expressed that they knew exactly where Khamenei was hiding, and commented, "He's an easy target, but he's safe there - we won't take him out (kill him), at least not yet." In another post, Trump called for Iran to "surrender unconditionally," a demand that Khamenei firmly rejected.

Khamenei, now 86 years old, has led Iran since the death of Ayatollah Khomeini in 1989.
