Ayahuasca equivalently symbolized as Joe Rogan's latest Porsche in automotive terms
The popular podcaster, Joe Rogan, has recently expanded his car collection with a unique Porsche 911 restomod, commissioned from The RSR Project. This bespoke 911, priced at a minimum of $375,000, is a tribute to the iconic RSR model and boasts a powerful engine and timeless interior.
The original tub of a 1980s 911 has been retained and galvanized by The RSR Project. The exterior has been complemented with steel fender flares, custom fiberglass bumpers, and a ducktail spoiler, giving the car a distinctive and sporty look. Under the hood, the modified engine delivers around 300 hp, thanks to twin-plug heads, a GT3 air intake plenum, Clewett Engineering throttle bodies, new cams, fuel injectors, ignition coils, and an Emtron SL ECU.
Inside the cabin, the interior remains timeless with black upholstery and free of modern tech. Custom fixed-shell bucket seats clad in black vinyl with nickel grommets have been added, inspired by those of the original Ford GT40. The Porsche Classic dash adorns the dashboard, while a Momo Prototipo steering wheel offers a classic driving experience.
The RSR Project is known for building cars that are not just art pieces but are built for the drive. Each car is built to be driven and enjoyed thoroughly. In Rogan's case, his example of the car was tested over 700 miles before delivery to ensure it delivers the intended visceral experience.
New carpets have been installed in the car, and while The RSR Project offers modern sound systems in its cars, Rogan opted against any technology or audio upgrades. Instead, the focus remains on the raw driving experience.
The Porsche 911 is priced at $375,000 with either a 3.4-liter or 3.5-liter flat-six engine. With its powerful engine and timeless interior, Rogan's bespoke Porsche 911 restomod is sure to be a standout in his impressive car collection.
