The X-Men, Marvel's iconic mutant superhero team, are set to make a grand return to the big screen, as confirmed by Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios. This exciting news marks the beginning of a new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In the upcoming phases, several X-Men characters will grace the Marvel films before the conclusion of Secret Wars. The lineup includes Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, and Kelsey Grammer as Beast. These characters will appear notably in "Avengers: Doomsday," scheduled for release on May 20, 2026, and "Avengers: Secret Wars," slated for May 2027.
