In a recent development, "Avangard" Omsk's goaltender Nikita Serebryakov addressed the departure of the American forward Reid Boucher. The forward recently penned a one-year contract with Yekaterinburg's "Avtomobilist".

Serebryakov, who competed alongside Boucher during training with "Avangard", commended his on-field skills and personality. "He's a crackerjack guy, a top-notch player. It's their call, the player's and the club's decision. Looking forward to competing against him in the upcoming season," Serebryakov remarked.

During their shared training sessions, Serebryakov saved numerous shots from Boucher, which could potentially prove beneficial when playing against "Avtomobilist."

The veteran goaltender suggested that he doesn't consciously track shot patterns during games but might recall some details during critical moments.

The former president of "Avangard," Maxim Suishensky, viewed Boucher's departure as a substantial loss for the team, dubbed the "owls."
