Autumn Rain to play historic free concert in Breitungen Basilica

Autumn Rain will perform a free concert at the Basilica of Breitungen on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The event marks a special moment for lead singer Jeremy Scoot, who grew up in nearby Meiningen and has long hoped to play in the historic venue. The concert begins at 6:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. Seating is limited, so organisers advise booking in advance to secure a spot. While admission is free, donations will be gratefully accepted.

Jeremy Scoot, travelling from East Frisia for the occasion, will lead the band alongside vocalist Aniko Merker and violinist Mary Götze. Their performance promises soulful harmonies, funky basslines from Holger Mehl, and a mesmerizing light show to accompany the music. The Basilica of Breitungen, known for its striking acoustics, will host the event. Scoot’s connection to the region adds a personal touch to the evening, making it a highlight for both the band and local fans.

The concert offers a chance to enjoy live music in a stunning setting. With free entry and a mix of soulful and funky sounds, it aims to bring the community together. Reservations are recommended to avoid missing out on what promises to be a memorable night.
