Authorities seek out individuals who may have observed the event.
On July 29th, an incident occurred that disrupted train traffic between Bremen and Hamburg. Unknown individuals set fire to a cable vault at the Deutsche Bahn train tracks, causing a significant disturbance on the embankment between Findorffallee and Parkallee.
The fire was extinguished quickly by firefighters, and thankfully, no one was injured during the incident. Law enforcement officers were the first on the scene, and the Bremen police have been notified of the incident.
While the investigation is ongoing, there is currently no publicly available information indicating that the fire was potentially politically motivated. The state security department and the criminal police are investigating the cause of the fire, and they have secured evidence at the scene.
The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, but the investigation suggests that it was deliberately set using an incendiary device. Witnesses can report any useful information to (0421) 362-3888.
Train traffic between Bremen and Hamburg was at a standstill until the morning hours due to the fire. The extent of the property damage cannot yet be determined.
The authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to the incident. As the investigation continues, more information will be released as it becomes available.
