The 20-year-old cyclist reportedly crossed the road at a signalised intersection when they collided with a Mercedes, which was approaching from the west. The impact of the collision caused the cyclist to fall to the ground.
The driver of the car, a 36-year-old, was unharmed in the accident. Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, and the cyclist was rushed to the hospital.
