Busting Up a Far-Right Gig: Police Put a Stop to Saalekreis Show
Authorities Foiled Right-wing Musical Event in Saale Region - Authorities halted a far-right music event in the Saale district.
Let's spill the beans on a recent tussle between cops and extremists! A far-right concert planned for Schiepzig, Saalekreis, was swiftly scrapped by the boys and girls in blue. The shindig was set to go down in a building on Äußere Lettiner Straße, but the fuzz got wind of it in advance and moved swiftly.
No Regular Hangout Spot for the Far-Right Crowd
The venue wasn't exactly a hotspot for the far-right scene, the police spokesperson stressed. When they arrived, they caught a fellow sporting some sketchy, unconstitutional symbols.
By the time the crew rolled in, over 140 people had gathered. The cops scrapped the event, plus they slapped eviction notices on 124 of the attendees and stopped around 30 more vehicles at the entrances.
In addition to investigating two cases of using unconstitutional symbols, the police also initiated a procedure for a violation of the Narcotics Act. No major flare-ups were reported, and around 120 officers were on the case.
