Politically Motivated Vandalism at AfD Event Venue

A politically charged incident has unfolded in Neu-Isenburg, Germany, as the South East Hesse Police Headquarters investigate a possible connection between a vandalism incident at the Hugenottenhalle and an upcoming AfD election campaign event.

The vandalism occurred shortly after 1:00 AM, and four individuals, approximately 1.60 to 1.80 meters tall, were observed vandalizing the glass entrance of the Hugenottenhalle. The suspects, estimated to be darkly dressed, fled the scene when approached by the security service.

The glass entrance withstood the forceful blows, preventing any unauthorized entry into the hall. However, the estimated property damage from the vandalism is several thousand euros. The police have seized a carpenter's hammer believed to be the potential weapon used in the incident.

The police are investigating the incident further to confirm the suspected connection to the AfD event. High-ranking AfD politicians such as Alice Weidel are expected to attend the event in the Hugenottenhalle on Saturday.
