Authorities carry out warrants against BPOLI LUD

In the city of Görlitz, Germany, a series of arrests took place over the past few days, with three individuals apprehended by federal police.

On the Old Town Bridge, a 35-year-old Polish national was arrested in the morning. The arrest warrant was issued by the Görlitz Public Prosecutor's Office, related to an unpaid fine of 350.00 euros from the Chemnitz regional court for driving without a license. The individual paid the outstanding amount plus court costs (319.80 euros) on the spot to avoid imprisonment.

Later in the day, a 42-year-old Polish national was arrested as a passenger on the Görlitz city bridge. This arrest was also initiated by the Görlitz Public Prosecutor's Office, with warrants issued for the payment of a fine of 800.00 euros and another for a fine of 400.00 euros. As of Friday morning, the 42-year-old had not paid the outstanding 1,200.00 euros. It is rumoured that his father may pay the outstanding amount, which could potentially shorten the individual's imprisonment.

In a separate incident in the evening, a 31-year-old was arrested at the motorway control point near Görlitz. The arrest warrants were issued by the Görlitz Public Prosecutor's Office, based on a conviction by the Leipzig Local Court for theft. The fines were imposed by the Görlitz Local Court and the Weißwasser Local Court, respectively, for forgery. The fines totaled 1,200.00 euros, with court costs of 77.50 euros. The name of the police officer or spokesperson responsible for the press area at the Ludwigsdorf Federal Police Inspectorate is not publicly available.

All three individuals were released after resolving their respective legal issues. However, further information about the individuals' identities or their intended destinations after release was not provided.

These arrests serve as a reminder of the importance of adhering to the law and fulfilling financial obligations to the court.
