Austria's Winning Streak Ends in Group B Defeat to Slovenia

Austria's winning streak in Group B came to an end with a 1:0 loss to Slovenia. Meanwhile, Slovakia kept pace with Germany at the top of Group A after a 2:0 win over Luxembourg. In other matches, Belgium took the lead in Group J, while France dropped points for the first time in their qualifiers.

Ralf Rangnick, the Austrian national team coach since May 2022, witnessed his side's winning streak halt with a defeat to Slovenia. This loss in Group B ended Austria's run of victories.
