Austria's 2026 World Cup away kit celebrates coffeehouse culture with bold design
The Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) has revealed the new away kit for the men's national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The design draws inspiration from Austria's famous coffeehouse culture, blending tradition with modern football style.
Twenty-six players are set to wear the kit at the tournament, where Austria will compete against Argentina, Algeria, and Jordan in the group stage.
The away jersey features a light base with gold lines and subtle colour accents. Art Nouveau-inspired patterns create a sense of movement, while a marble effect echoes classic coffeehouse tables. Turquoise and magenta details add a contemporary twist, balancing heritage with fresh energy.
The kit is designed to support performance while reflecting Austrian identity. It follows the launch of the home strip in December 2025, which showcased a bold red body with black sleeves. Austria secured qualification under coach Ralf Rangnick. The squad will now prepare for their World Cup campaign in North America, with matches scheduled across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
