A bloke from Austria, named Andreas Dick, made a splash in Hamburg recently. This achievements sought-after, Austrian gentleman managed to cover every single U-Bahn station in the city, clocking in an impressive six hours and 28 minutes. Hochbahn, a local rep, shared their admiration, commenting on the "smooth sailing and successful trip."

Andreas's journey took him through a whopping 93 U-Bahn stations. His motivation behind this subway marathon in Germany's bustling hub city? To demonstrate just how long it takes to conquer each and every station. With a gleam in his eye, he cheekily said, "What a fantastic way to explore a city!"

Surprisingly enough, this wasn't the first time this seasoned journalist had embarked on such an adventure. He'd already taken on full-blown tours in 17 major metros, such as Vienna, Berlin, and Lyon. In 2016, he navigated through the German city of Bremen on its trams − albeit in an unofficial capacity. According to Hochbahn, however, no one had ever officially attempted this feat before.

Even in the face of mixed weather conditions, Andreas's determination remained rock-solid. Celebrations among locals and rail enthusiasts alike ensued as this mixed-method city exploration was completed.
