Austin Butler discloses shocking details about Bad Bunny's concert performance
Austin Butler, the actor known for his roles in movies like Masters of the Air and The Dune: Part Two, recently made headlines for an unexpected performance at Bad Bunny's concert. In a candid conversation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Butler revealed that he was under the influence of a marijuana edible during his on-stage appearance.
Butler shared that he consumed the edible right before the show, thinking it would be a good idea. He found himself on a smaller, intimate stage, dubbed a "casita," where he danced while crossing his arms. This unusual behaviour, captured on video and shared widely online, was a result of the edible's effects.
The day of the concert was a unique one for Butler. He had lunch with Bad Bunny earlier in the day, and initially thought he would be part of the general audience. However, he found himself unexpectedly on the secondary stage, where Bad Bunny later joined him.
Butler expressed that he was not fond of public attention, and was unsure about dancing on stage due to fear of drawing attention away from Bad Bunny. His brain, he said, was in two places during the concert – one proud of Bad Bunny and the other telling him not to dance.
Despite his reservations, Butler's body was drawn to the music. He felt his body wanting to hide, but at the same time, he was swaying his hips and crossing his arms while dancing.
In his new movie, Butler is playing a Puerto Rican gangster, and he dyed his hair red for the role. This connection to Puerto Rico might have added to the surreal experience of the concert for him.
