August's Star Athlete at the Club Recognized
In the heart of Lensahn, Germany, Soenke Schoening has been recognised as the "Moin! Club Hero of the Month." This prestigious title celebrates his outstanding dedication and exceptional commitment to local sports.
The KSV and Sparkasse, with their foundations, bestowed this honour upon Schoening in acknowledgement of his unwavering commitment. His tireless efforts as a youth leader and trainer, spanning over three decades, have significantly contributed to the growth and success of local, regional, and national sports competitions, including the German Championships.
Schoening's fellow board members consider him a shining example of dedication and commitment. His special interest lies in the shooting youth, a passion that has earned him the title of a "shooting sports legend" by his peers in the Lensahn shooting guild.
As a youth leader on the board of the Lensahn shooting guild, Schoening has been actively involved since January 1, 1987. His extensive achievements include numerous participations in local, regional, and national competitions. In the coming weeks, he will travel to Frankfurt, Munich, and Neuss for the German Youth Championships in light point shooting and air rifle shooting, as well as the North Germany Cup final with participants from the Lensahn shooting guild.

Recently, Jutta Voigt, the 2nd chairwoman of the Ostholstein county sports association (KSV), and Christoph Langbehn, an employee at the Sparkasse-Holstein branch in Lensahn, presented Schoening with a certificate and fuel cards worth a total of 250 euros.
