Revolut and Audi F1 Team Partner for 2026 Season, Aiming to Revolutionise Formula 1 Fan Engagement
In an exciting development for the world of Formula 1, fintech services firm Revolut and the Audi F1 Team have announced a strategic partnership for the 2026 season. This collaboration is set to redefine how fans and communities engage with the sport, introducing innovative digital interactions and exclusive experiences.
Based in England, Revolut will bring its digital-first financial technology to power key areas of the Audi F1 Team's operations. This marks Revolut's motor sports sponsorship debut.
The partnership, which sees Revolut become the title partner of Audi's debut Formula 1 team, aims to revolutionise fan engagement in motorsport. Revolut and Audi plan to establish unique digital touchpoints and premium retail experiences, targeting a new generation of motorsport enthusiasts with exclusive benefits for Revolut customers during race weekends.
Moreover, the partnership will see Revolut's technology integrated into the team's operations. This will enable seamless payment and financial processes for team merchandise and internal financial operations, improving the overall experience for fans and staff alike.
Both brands share a common ambition to innovate. Audi views Formula 1 as a platform for technological and economic sustainability, while Revolut brings its globally recognised fintech expertise to enhance fan and community engagement.
Jonathan Wheatley, Audi F1 Team principal, emphasised that this alliance is engineered to challenge motorsport conventions and deliver a seamless, engaging experience both on and off the track. Gernot Döllner, CEO of Audi AG, highlighted that the partnership aligns with Audi’s long-term F1 ambitions and their goal to reach new audiences globally through Formula 1.
The Sauber team, previously announced as Audi's partner for their entry into Formula 1 in 2026, will continue to develop the racecar design at their Switzerland facility. The Audi F1 Team will retain the current driver lineup, consisting of Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto.
With over 60 million customers, Revolut aims to reach 100 million customers with this partnership. This pioneering integration of fintech and motorsport is set to transform how fans interact with the sport, making the experience more digital, seamless, and engaging.
