Auction of Animation Rarities and Pieces of History to Accumulate Funds for Los Angeles Wildfire Emergency Aid

A fundraising auction at Sotheby's is underway to gather funds for industry folk affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles. The online auction is now open, and it's all for a good cause! Artists and professionals within the animation industry, who have suffered displacement or lost their homes, are the beneficiaries of this collaborative effort. Animation producer Don Hahn (Beauty and the Beast, Howard) spoke passionately about the cause on Instagram:
"The animation community took a beating from the Los Angeles fires. Now, we've come together to donate artwork, some truly priceless artwork to Sotheby's for a one-of-a-kind auction to support an organization called AnimAID, and the profits will go directly to fire victims in LA."
