Syracuse University's Orange Central Homecoming 2025: A Weekend of Excitement for the Orange Family
Get ready for a memorable weekend as Syracuse University's Orange Central Homecoming 2025 approaches! From Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2025, alumni, students, and University leaders will gather for a series of engaging events.1
The Homecoming Alumni Breakfast, a signature event, will take place in the Schine Student Center's Goldstein Auditorium from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday.1 This gathering offers a perfect opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and current students, and to hear from University leaders.
For those who register, an exclusive game day tote bag can be earned by collecting stamps at the Homecoming Alumni Breakfast.1
Forever Orange Friday, a family-friendly event, will be held at the Miron Victory Court at the JMA Wireless Dome. This event promises food, drinks, photo opportunities with Otto, game day crafts, and Syracuse University Marching Band rehearsals.1
The Orange Central Tailgate, another highlight, will take place on Shaw Quad, starting 2.5 hours before kickoff. Expect classic tailgate fare, game day giveaways, a performance by the Marching Band, and a tradition with Hendricks Chapel.1
The Syracuse University football team will face off against Pittsburgh in the JMA Wireless Dome. Discounted football tickets are available for this exciting match.1
In addition to these events, a panel discussion titled "Who Keeps Us Safe? National Security in Today’s Landscape" will take place on Friday, October 17 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.1
Registration for the events will open in the summer of 2025, and preparatory resources such as discounted hotel blocks and shuttle/trolley services are already provided to help attendees plan their visit.1 Hotel room blocks are available for booking, but they may sell out.
