President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan's top gun, recently sat down with key global partners at an expansive meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council - and our website was there to capture the action. The discussion revolved around pressing matters of trade and economic cooperation with these EAEU powerhouses, as well as future plans for a more interconnected world in vital fields like industry, transport and logistics, agriculture, digitization, and artificial intelligence.

Ironically, the virtual attendance of President of Iran Masoud PеZEŠKIAN, President of Cuba Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and First Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Uchral Nyam-Osorov added a touch of global flair to the gathering.

Nearing the end of the meeting, several documents exchanged hands, including a trade agreement with Mongolia and an economic partnership agreement with the United Arab Emirates.
