Russian Athletes Shine at Bicycle Orienteering Championships

Russia's Ekaterina Kalikina and German Razhev, renowned figures in the world of bicycle orienteering, have once again proven their mettle on the international stage.

At the Russian Championships held in the Tambov region on August 2, 2025, both athletes secured bronze medals in the "bicycle cross relay-3 person" discipline.

Ekaterina Kalikina, along with her teammates Alina Krutina and Olga Lokotnikova, triumphed in the girls' category, crossing the finish line at 11:41 AM. Meanwhile, German Razhev, teaming up with Alexei Varakin and Konstantin Karpenko, clinched the bronze in the boys' category.

Their victories were reported by the department of physical culture and sports, which expressed its wishes for more victories and greater sporting achievements for the young athletes. The department also congratulated the athletes and their coaches, Kirill Starodumov and Marina Abakumova, on their excellent results.

It is worth noting that the winning athletes hail from different cities across the country. Ekaterina Kalikina and her teammates are from Nizhny Novgorod, while German Razhev and his teammates represent Dzerzhinsk.
