Sweet triumph descended upon the triathletes of StS Fischbek-Falkenberg, claiming the prestigious title of the most successful team in 2024's Hamburg Kids Cup. Harcenko's impressive 22nd place at the Rothsee also secured the squad standard for the following year. Ready to tackle the older age group, he eagerly awaits his moment in the spotlight, according to state coach Fredrick Tychsen.
Lotta Wietbrok also shone brightly, winning five of the six competitions among the B-girls. Alas, an injury in the final race held her back, but she had already secured the win in the Kids Cup by then. The defending champion Lilly Gatzka (girls C) won her title for the second consecutive year, while Paul Wulff (boys) and Amina Reich (girls A) joined the podium of winners with their victories.
In the midst of the celebration, it's hard not to notice the resilience of Sune Stuhrmann (boys A) who earned the silver medal, Felix Zeller (boys C) who brought home the bronze, and Danny Ritter (boys B) who rounded out the top tier of winners.
